Quartz sand with SiO2 content between 99 and 99.6% is called Refined Quartz Sand, which is made of strictly selected high quality quartz ore. The appearance of refined quartz sand is white or crystalline. The particle size range is 5-480mesh. It can be produced according to the user’s requirements.
Refined quartz sand can be used for water filtration, advanced glass and glass products, refractory materials, smelting ferrosilicon, ceramic and grinding materials, casting all aspects such as modelling. Because of strong acidic medium erosion resistance, making acid and acid-proof mortar and concrete is often used it.
